MY HEART'S PASSION
The Holy Spirit has a subtle way of influencing our hearts and programming us to do what wants.
Proverbs 21: 1
The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
If you are a believer, if you are also in continual connection with the Holy Spirit. The chances are that the Holy Spirit is influencing your thoughts and action even without you knowing. Even for unbelievers, the Holy Spirit can influence their thoughts and action....
He gave a dream to Pharaoh, even though he did not know God.
He made Cyrus the King free the children of Israel from activity as he wished.
He gave Nebuchadnezzar a dream about the future even though he didn't know God
Look out how the message bible put's this:
Philippians 2: 12 - 13
12-13 What I’m getting at, friends, is that you should simply keep on doing what you’ve done from the beginning. When I was living among you, you lived in responsive obedience. Now that I’m separated from you, keep it up. Better yet, redouble your efforts. Be energetic in your life of salvation, reverent and sensitive before God. That energy is God’s energy, an energy deep within you, God himself willing and working at what will give him the most pleasure.
So many points to take:Nugget: The Holy Spirit influences my heart passion to be in connection with his own plans for my life
- Redouble your effort, Be energetic in your life of salvation...... God does not want us to be in sluggish
- Reverent and be sensitive before God....
- That energy is God’s energy, an energy deep within you,
What is that drive or vision or dream that you cannot shake? It keeps coming back. Pay attention to it.
It may be God's Spirit trying to get your attention
