I want to share something with you that truly comes from my heart. It's about your heart .... and how it affects your health. If your heart has ever been broken, then you know that agonizing feeling. Regardless of why your heart is broken, it really can feel like the end of the world. You gradually heal, but the process can be a rough one.
If you've ever experienced this (I think we all have), then you know all about the emotional pain. But, have you ever felt physical pain during the healing process? If you have, it's not a coincidence.
Turns out, the latest research shows they don't call it heartache for nothing.
Heartache, sometimes referred to as broken heart syndrome, actually causes physical responses ... including a physical pain in your chest. Nausea, body aches and pains, inflammation and insomnia are only some of the ways we can be physically affected when we're grieving.
What matters to me is that you - and your heart - are healthy and strong. So I'm urging you to learn all about how a broken heart can affect you - so that you're prepared to protect yourself with a little extra TLC during those inevitable tough times.
